photo (6)I was lucky enough to get my hands on some free samples from brands like Hawaiian Tropics and Sally Hansen in the latest Influenster VoxBox. There were some amazing products, some of which I have already bought for myself because I couldn’t live without them (hint, food and feminine products).

Here is what the box of wonderfulness contained:

Hawaiian Tropics Silk Hydration Lotion: First impression was how good it smelled! Combine that with SPF 30 and this will be my new go-to sunscreen for when I’m laying out by our pool.

Clear Scalp and Hair Beauty Therapy: These were great. Good sized samples, and they smelled like Pantene (which is a good thing!). But I only have one complaint—I don’t believe they have a version for color-treated hair. As someone who’s hair color always slowly turns a rusty shade of red, no matter what color I’ve dyed it, I really need a color safe shampoo and conditioner. But I love you Clear! I will recommend you when I can!

Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color: When I first saw these in Target, I really wanted to buy some. Lucky for me that Influester read my mind and sent me some! It takes a few tries to get right (e.g. you have to INSTANTLY put the magnet over the wet nail polish) but the effect is so cool! I haven’t been able to do my toes yet, it might take me a few more yoga classes.

Quaker Soft Baked Bars: These were magnificent. MAGNIFICENT. They seriously taste like slices of banana bread. I’ve already went through a box that I’ve bought on my own. 140 calories and pretty high in fiber and protein for a “treat” bar.

Sally Hansen Nails and Cuticles Hand Crème:  I received a generous sample here (not that the others weren’t)—it was probably that actual size sold stores (just like the nail polish, WTG, Sally Hansen!). I haven’t had a chance to try it yet but I’m never one to turn down beauty stuff to try. Some days, I need all the help I can get. Smile

Always Radiant Tampons and Liners: I hate to say AMAZING from a feminine product, but these were awesome. They came in a cute makeup pouch and the tampons had a resealable pouch for your “empties”. I’ve already bought a new box.

And hopefully that’s the last time I’ll have to review tampons or pads on my blogs. Winking smile

Thanks Influester and Quaker, Sally Hansen, Always, Hawaiian Tropics, and Clear for letting me review these great summer products.

Looking forward to the next VoxBox!
