Exciting news! I was accepted to speak at PubCon Las Vegas this year, taking place in October. I was already going since I am a judge at the U.S. Search Awards, but I’m excited (and also extremely nervous) to be a speaker as well. A few members of my Search Engine Journal team will also be speaking, including Murray Newlands and Loren Baker, and SEJ will also have a booth in the exhibition hall during the conference.
The session proposal I submitted was surrounding my experience running a large publication like SEJ, but then also the benefits and tools I’ve learned running my own websites (like this one) and blogs as well.
While I’ve spoken at SMX East and online at the virtual LEARN events, this will be my first solo endeavor at a marketing conference. If you are planning on attending, let me know, and maybe I’ll let you win at blackjack! 😉 All I ask is that you come to my session and help me build my own personal cheering section.
I’ve been to Vegas before, but since I’ll be there for almost a week this time, I’m looking forward to hopefully seeing a show and convincing my fellow SEJ attendees to ride the new
ferris observation wheel with me.
