In another session of MoxieDot Live, I discuss why review sites are crucial to your marketing, and how many businesses aren’t monitoring their reviews on all of the top sites. Even if you aren’t looking at your online reviews, that doesn’t mean your customers aren’t using them to leave feedback about your business.

In this video, I explain how some of your potential employees and customers are using review sites like Glassdoor and Yelp to get a better picture of what your company is like. Because Glassdoor appears on the first page of many businesses’ search results, customers do check this site to see how you trust your employees. Interviewed candidates (even if they weren’t hired) can also leave reviews on Glassdoor, and all reviews can be anonymous.

I recommend monitoring the below websites regularly (we do every Friday here at MoxieDot for our social media marketing clients). Because these review sites show up in your branded search results, it’s important to monitor them regularly because they are part of your online presence.

Review Sites and Tools Mentioned During The Video:

  • GlassDoor
  • Facebook
  • Google
  • TripAdvisor
  • Yelp
  • Google Shopping
  • Ebay
  • Amazon
  • OneTab

Here’s a list of additional employer review sites, but many aren’t used regularly. Still, it’s important to at least check and see if your business is listed.
